Lead Generation Manager

As part of a wider strategy to become one of the ‘go to’ businesses for Managed Hosting, VoIP and connectivity solutions in the UK, we are on the hunt for a Lead Generation Manager to take us to the next level. Your role is to create, lead and execute the marketing lead generation strategy to support the growth of 2 business units within the Supreme Bay Holdings Group.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a world-class customer experience, increasing customer lifetime value, and maximizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities through various customer touchpoints and communications channels, with the core focus on lead generation for both businesses.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement the overarching marketing strategy, to support the growth of 2 business units within the Supreme Bay Holdings Group.
  • Regularly concept new marketing campaigns and ideas to the Sales and Marketing Manager, with a proposed goal, KPI’s and necessary budget in which to execute the campaign.
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Manager to define and implement a lead generation strategy, to consistently deliver marketing qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Take ownership of all marketing collateral, ensuring all brand guidelines are followed.
  • Website management and maintenance, supported by our in-house developer.
  • Develop the brand externally to prospective and existing clients and partners.
  • Manage 3rd Party suppliers for SEO and PPC.
  • Manage all social medial platforms.
  • Oversee all aspects of the marketing mix.
  • Monitor competitor and marketplace trends.

Essential Qualities:

  • To be not afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. As much as this role is about creating an overall marketing approach and strategy for the business, it is equally as important that the incumbent can deliver on those elements whilst we eventually grow our team.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, either as a lead generation manager or as a marketing executive and you’re now ready to take the next step.
  • Goal-orientated with a proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing campaigns for B2B services.
  • A creative, analytical, and strategic mindset, with experience in digital marketing, brand building and lead generation in a competitive market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer focused with high ethical standards.
  • An understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team.

3rd Line Engineer (Linux, and Windows)

Hybrid Working – Office based work required as part of role.

We have thousands of customers in the UK and overseas using our shared web hosting, dedicated servers, colocation and cloud hosting services. We have an excellent reputation and deliver great customer service, high quality technical support and enterprise-grade hosting products.

Due to our continued growth we are looking to add to our excellent Systems Administration team. The role includes some on-call responsibilities, which are shared across other members of the team. As part of CWCS you will help to deliver service to meet our customer’s expectation, and in line with SLAs, ensuring that quality is delivered at every opportunity.

You must have a passion for technical issues, a keen eye for detail, and patience to investigate an issue and deliver a resolution in a timely fashion. General Responsibilities

The Systems Administration team are critical in delivering services to our customers, being responsible for the management of key accounts, maintaining security best practice, supporting our 2nd line team, and working with the Sales departments on proposals.

You will take on different functions within the team, split across three areas:

Escalations – Help deliver resolutions to tickets that have been escalated from our 2nd line team, and dealing with high priority customers directly.

Maintenance – Carrying out server maintenance on customer’s operating systems and hardware. Proactive maintenance is critical to managing customer’s perceptions of our support.

Research and Development Training – Research new technologies and processes that help to automate our systems and deliver a consistent level of service. You will also be expected to continually train so that your knowledge helps the business deliver on its goals.

These functions have many components within them, a small example of these are:

  • Server provisioning, custom scripts, and migrations, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.
  • Monitor the network and resolve issues appropriately.
  • Oversee the regular auditing and patching of core and customer systems.
  • Perform routine audits of systems and software.
  • Build relationships with key managed customers.
  • Train junior members of the technical operations centre.
  • Develop knowledgebase documentation.
  • Research, develop and implement new products and services.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality and information systems standards and a strong technical aptitude and ability to research and resolve complex issues. You will be self-motivated and keen to work as part of a team.

Experience

You should have a good knowledge of internet technologies, specifically those used to deliver website hosting. You should also be able to understand the interaction between hardware and software. Confidence of working with networks, and being able to diagnose faults is also crucial. Other areas of knowledge that would be required:

  • Experience of VMware (vSphere, vSAN) system administration and maintenance.
  • Linux and Windows administrative knowledge.
  • Virtualisation and virtual machine management.
  • Familiarity with open source tools.
  • Networking concept.
  • Diagnostic skills, and lateral thinking.
  • Basic database administration including MySQL (MariaDB) and MSSQL.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • A Linux or Microsoft certification would be advantageous.
  • Evidenced right to work in the UK is a pre-requisite for this role.

This role would be of particular interest to someone with a qualification in a VMware looking to advance their career, and with a keen desire to improve their knowledge on a diverse amount of technologies.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week including an on-call requirement

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

2nd Line Support Engineer

Due to our continued growth we are looking to add to our excellent technical support team.

The 2nd Line Support Engineer role is key in delivering a high-quality service to our customers, in line with their expectations and SLAs. We have two data centres, and you will be responsible for the continued monitoring of the environment, auditing and installation of hardware across both sites.

Key accountabilities include

  • Building physical servers, installing operating systems and software, provisioning the network, and racking the servers – this is definitely not a desk job!
  • Provision and maintenance of servers on our Cloud platform
  • Responding to customers’ issues: these can be as diverse as handling an email client setup to rebuilding a RAID configuration, or performing a bare metal restore.
  • Diagnosing issues and presenting a resolution path to the customer, this may be providing a solution or escalating the issue to the correct department.
  • Building a relationship with all our customers, regardless of their level of technical proficiency. You should always want to help customers, and knowing how to educate customers so that they understand the issue and are able to help themselves in the future is pivotal to the role.
  • Successfully provisioning orders sent from our Sales department that meet the specification the customer has purchased, and meet the high-level of quality we require and our customers expect.

To be successful in this role you must

  • have a passion for technical issues, a keen eye for detail and the patience to investigate an issue and deliver a resolution in a timely fashion
  • be comfortable working shifts, including periods working nights
  • be confident working on your own on occasions (with support from our on-call Systems Administrators)
  • be a strong team player
  • be customer focussed and able to deliver a high level of customer service
  • be able to manage workloads, prioritising and organising your time effectively
  • be solutions focussed but recognise when it is appropriate to escalate matters to best meet customer needs
  • be confident dealing with customers directly and effective in communicating with a wide range of individuals, from the hobbyist website owner to large corporate entities
  • have worked previously in a contact centre environment
  • have a good knowledge of internet technology
  • be a keen learner with a drive to develop further
  • hold a full UK driving licence

Whilst not essential, it would be desirable for you to have

  • previous experience of working in the hosting sector
  • previous experience of working night/late shifts
  • a working knowledge of
  • LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022
  • IIS
  • DNS
  • Domain Names
  • Email clients and MTA
  • cPanel and/or Plesk support skills would be an advantage.
